Protect Puerto Nariño: “A shared responsibility”.
Welcome to indigenous territory. Here we practise Good Living:
living in harmony with nature and with each other. We invite you to join us in preserving this delicate balance for future generations.
Our fundamental pillars

Take care of water, the source of life

Value culture, honour tradition

Respect wildlife, we are visitors

Minimise waste, protect the rainforest

Protect children and adolescents
their rights are sacred.
In Colombia, trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation of persons under the age of 18 are serious crimes that violate human rights and are severely punished with up to 34 years in prison for anyone who engages in any related practice. – (Laws 679 of 2001, 985 of 2005, 1336 of 2009, and 1329 of 2009).
In Puerto Nariño, children and adolescents have community protection. To this end, the “Mujeres Semillas de Vida” Care Network has been established, comprising women leaders from the municipality who monitor respect for the human rights of children and adolescents in the urban center and in the 22 indigenous communities within the territory. If you identify any situation involving the risk of commercial sexual exploitation of children and adolescents or human trafficking in Puerto Nariño, report it to the National Police or call the Colombian Institute of Family Welfare (ICBF) hotline at 141, which is available 24 hours a day.
Remember: The protection of children and adolescents is everyone's responsibility.
